among of the altcoins I think I woyld pick Ethereum. its the second most valuable coin next to bitcooin. and one of the most reliable.

I don't understand what do you mean with bitcoin is popular and smart contract? Due to what i know the most popular cryptocurrencies to be used for smart contract is ethereum not bitcoin. The other problem bitcoin is used for payment / money is huge fees transaction to sending of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is by far the most acceptable as a form of currency. Specific altcoins have their niches, but overall they don't have anywhere near the number of outlets that Bitcoin does. It doesn't mean that it will remain like this though, I think cryptocurrency in general is becoming more accepted as a means of currency, albeit slowly. No individual altcoin is going to knock Bitcoin off their perch any time soon though, it has the huge advantage of being 'first to market' and will have it's 10 year anniversary next year. The increasing number of altcoins being launched only serves to further dilute their feasibility as general payment options, unless it is for specific sectors/products.
