How are we going to deal with Scam ICO's

There is a lot of scam ICO's available now. How are we going to eradicate that? Have anyone thought of that?

Scam ICOs can be minimized if regulations will be imposed.  I believe documents and licenses which proves that it is operating legally will be required by the government.  With this, we would know which ICOs are accredited by the government.

To minimize is what the right thing to impose in order to lessen scam ICO. To stop scams that the hard thing to do now for there are ICO that looks legit but at the end we can definitely found out it is scam. The sad part.

I does not think there is anything we can do about it, at most educate more bounty hunters in choosing the right ICO to join ans sooner or later scam ICO will disappear .

We can actually do something as an individual by carrying out through research about ICOs before participating on them.
I think there also little or nothing we can do collectively escept everyone vote for crypto regulations. Regulations may be immediate solution, but i am not a supporter regulations.

We can not easily find out the scam but we can anticipate it by giving time for research and find if the project is possible in reality and the team is really existing.

There are various ways one of them is checking the background of the owner that he isn't involved in some sort of shading business or has a shady past. Then checking if they are using a reputable escrow. And also seeing the transparency during ico as most of them show the transaction being made.

I don't think this is possible since crypto is not regulated. Some of these projects even outline in their projects the risk involved to participate in their ICO. I think we just have to be extra cautious so we don't fall to these scams

If the ICO is in your country of residence, you better go directly to the head office.
There you will be explained about the ICO and you can understand everything, so you can value the ICO whether it will be SCAM or not.

Being aware of what is scams looks like and what is legit can help us to prevent into scams ICO's. It is not 100% that we will not be involve in any scam as there are tricky moves of some scammers. Better to be aware and have ideas how to determine the scam and legit ICO.
