Holding coins have a greater advantage because if the coins are given a long period of time, their performance can be monitored. Imagine selling a coin then the price rises to triple in the next few days. Holding coins will give you enough time to study the market.

If you want to make a lot of money, bitcoin's not good for it. It is more possible to achieve this by investing in altcoins that have not yet entered the market. So if the ICO investment is made for a long time, I think it definitely brings money.

I think HOLD is good way to keep the value of crypto currency. Be patient  is the best key.

if you hold altcoins like Ethereum, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, EOS, THERE is very good.
but if you hold an altcoin that is below 100 coinmarketcap then you are the same as risking your life.

I usually hold my crypto and wait ti reduce my loss. Then I sell it to convert in other coin.

When things goes better with your coin, then you are in the right time at the right place of your long term holding to gain better profit. However, to hold is not advisable specially if we didn't know the real plans of the project to make better adjustment and better product to produce in every stages.
