Investment is better because you're also sure that you've assets potentially to produce you profits and it's a hope to your future while bounty is a hunting to earn and it's literally unreliable for a resource of income.

This thread is quite old - but you should keep in mind that there's a possibility of investing in a project that is a scam or might still have the same value in the next 10 years or even depreciate in value in that time duration.

Although, generally I don't even like the idea of participating in bounty thus Ill choose investment (the problem I mentioned above should be noted) even if its not 100% sure of giving you profit.

It totally depends on individual ideas of investment, not everyone see shitcoins as a viable option for investment. I personally classify both participating in airdrops or bounties and buying shitcoins in one box, because they're both a complete waste of time to me.
I know people would say there are people who have really benefited from buying shitcoins because they made awesome profits from them, while that may be true, also think about the majority who has went bankrupt because of these so called shitcoin investments.

Investing is a thousand times a more preferable option, compared to bounties and airdrops, but while investing, it's important to invest on the right asset, which is none other than Bitcoin. With Bitcoin you don't have to worry about your asset deprecating or losing value, or even being stagnant in the long run.

You need to know that bounty hunters used to earn a lot of money but now the amount is very less. Moreover you need assets for investing but you can earn money by working for free from bounty. So you should be more serious about this. Investing may destroy your future profit but working from bounty will give you some money for free. You will get better bounty in future so keep all your accounts ready.

True, I believe in the future will get better bounties campaign and keep ready by push our account reach most higher level with potential earn more bigger reward.
Usually I spent around 40% of my bounty reward for investing or trading in some top altcoin, I think its effective become passive income when getting difficult find better bounty campaign.

Maybe the bounties have started to decrease recently, only BTC paid bounties are worth it in my opinion. Because maybe in the past we participated in many bounty campaigns but didn't get anything. Bounties have been decreasing since the last few years. I'm surprised if you just realize it. Yes, the most trusted bounties is bounty paid in Bitcoin nowadays. Most bounties paid in altcoins end up with nothing, many of them are scams only. Some of them only pay with cents, sometimes we even couldn't get $5 for the doing tasks several weeks. So I agree that it seems wasting time only. This is also the reason why almost all people only focus on doing the bounties paid in Bitcoin or stablecoins.

I'm not a bounty hunter, so following bounties on forums just adds to my crypto knowledge, so when there is a bounty payment paid in BTC I think this is very valuable, because it is paid weekly. And I also observed on this forum and the one next door, bounties have started to decrease in the last few years. I prefer to be a trader, because even though I don't get much results because my capital is small, my opinion is clearer, because many bounties are worthless and don't pay out.

This thread has been created more than 6 years ago in 2018. That was the time where Bounty Campaigns are very popular especially in Bitcointalk. I don't know if there are some bounty campaigns being launched here as well.

Bounty campaigns back in 2018 are very different compared to what it is now. During that time, bounty hunters can earn a minimum of 3 digits just by joining in this campaigns. Of course, it isn't 100% certain that they will earn, but the chances to earn at that time was high. Today, bounty hunting isn't worth it anymore because there's chance that you might not even earn any token after spending hours promoting the project.

Now as for the question, if you have spare money then just invest it. Don't waste your time joining these bounty campaigns, and find a real job. A portion of your monthly salary can be used to invest in Bitcoin or different altcoins of your choice.

Both can be profitable, but if you do bounty, it depends on your bounty project, because not all bounties will pay you 100% sure, some bounties are fake. And some bounty projects will pay you less money than you expect, and the bounty projects that are very good will pay you much more money than you expect. Like you can get $1500-$2000 if you work on a good bounty project (Only in terms of understanding). It totally depends on the project.

Now if you invest in bitcoin or other good coin or any other good place for long time, it will definitely pay you well, because long term investment has much less risk. The longer you hold here, the higher the return potential.

Invest or bounty both things are best, both give us high money potential, now it's up to you to decide which one you do, it's a personal matter. But in my case both are best.

So everything has risk, even in investing, however, investing in crypto like Bitcoin could really be good in the long run as compare to spend a lot of time hunting for bounties. I'm not too sure about crypto investments being safe for long time, ok I agree about Bitcoin but rest not too much. Terra Luna's case baffled me to core that I started to consider crypto investments as fragile.

If looking at the Tera Luna case makes us worried about crypto, that's not wrong. but not all coins will have the same fate as tera luna. For the long term I prefer bitcoin and ethereum, because I think these coins are quite safe to hold for the long term. Don't forget to always monitor the market and read the news so you always know developments in the coins we hold
