Not effective for crap coins. Holding is very effective but only for those coins that are worthy of holding in which it has potential to make your money to grow. Avoid some Altcoins that are not active or nearly becoming a dead coins because for sure you will lost your investments with them too. Therefore review well  the coins before buying and holding it.

Yes, that's the right thing to do whenever prices are getting low. It is more preferable to buy coins at cheaper price and HODL to get good profits in the future.

For me, hodl is now a forced measure.All my coins are in a huge drawdown. If I sell now, I'll regret it later.So I have to wait and hope for growth.
