I also don't see EOS as a potential coin to buy. because seeing the EOS project has no development and is currently getting less popular. It's better to buy coins that are currently popular such as Solana and TON, these two coins are more potential than EOS
Yeah, that's what many investors in the market are thinking about the Eos blockchain and EOS token. The blockchain/crypto market has become more competitive than in 2018, and Eos is no longer the most prominent Blockchain 3.0 in the market. Investors now have more options like SOL, TON, APT... or they can choose BTC and ETH.

Eos once wanted to create a revival event after ENF took over the ecosystem development, but that expectation seems to have not been successful. The latest upgrade that Eos has is the new tokenomics, RAM and exSat, I hope they can boost the development of EOS and create more value for EOS token.

only a few people are patience in holding these token anymore. the project still is ion the big exchanges though so there is a level of success that any other token today that hast achieved.  there is no other project like EOS where transaction can be free.  it should really be a good platform for games but no developers are trying to deploy a real entertaining game on EOS.

so far there are casinos in EOS that is known to the community and no fees as well unless they use other token besides EOS.

I don't have specific information about the current number of EOS holders, but EOS is no longer a popular token in the crypto community, despite having many updates and upgrades over the past two years. The development of the Antelope ecosystem has also made it difficult for Eos to reach users: if they prefer EVM, they'll choose Telos, if they like gaming, they'll choose Wax. Eos once wanted to be the center of Antelope, but this goal may be impossible as other Antelope chains have found their own paths and no longer need Eos.

High speed and low fees are still Eos advantages, but shifting the focus to RAM can make things more complicated, for example, the cost of creating an account might be large enough to deter users from experiencing DeFi and GameFi on Eos. Clearly, they have more options, with clearer investment opportunities as in the ecosystems of Solana, Near, Avalanche, Ton...

No, I don't hodL EOS because EOS is an unknown coin. I'm also opening various boards that other coins and found EOS. I'm looking for a light discussion and I can be here now. I don't know the history of EOS coins and EOS also doesn't seem to be in the top 100 coinmarketcap rankings. It's too risky for me to force hodL EOS.

A few years ago, specifically in 2017 and 2018, EOS was a very popular token after a successful ICO that raised 4 USD. Unfortunately, B1 couldn't capitalize on this opportunity to create a major force in the market. The funds were used for frivolous purposes, and the Eos blockchain was abandoned.

Currently, the EOS token isn't even the central asset of Eos. RAM, with a limited total supply, is now the real-world asset that the Eos community is aiming for. As soon as I heard this news, I permanently removed EOS from my watchlist.

i didn't know there is a RAM token. i look it up but found no price to the listings including that WRAM.

every now and then EOS dev team has new things in mind and then abandoned again. i remember just a year or 2, they were talking about Antelope but now this RAM token. the team themselves are pretty much uncertain where this token could go. its no wonder the market keeps dwindling it has never recovered since time. Dan Larimer  keeps abandoning his project,  all of them is nowhere to be discovered by an investor.

If you've been following EOS's development, it's easy to stay updated via Medium, Telegram, or X. RAM has only gained significant attention after its maximum supply was capped, transforming it into a valuable RWA for Eos, similar to storage space for transaction data on the Eos blockchain.

ENF has explored numerous concepts like Antelope, DeFi+, Recover+, EVM, and GameFi, but most have failed to revive EOS's position in the top 50 or top 10. Eos is undeniably powerful, fast, cheap, and stable, yet it has failed to attract substantial investments from major funds. Whales, who profited handsomely in 2018, are now seeking opportunities in more dynamic ecosystems :)

A very old coin from 2017, no wonder I don't know about the history of EOS. Moreover, you mentioned about RAM coins related to EOS coins, this makes me even more confused. BTW, why is EOS Dump so hard until now? What factors can EOS not be supported by its community anymore? Does this have anything to do with the people who are on the EOS team itself?

not really just now but it had been done since and over time this is where the price is. the community is guess is discourage to the development of the project. not so interested anymore and only the block producers are making money.

there could be more factors. newer projects re pretty much better and re more supported by bigger community as well. i use to think the dump and the bad news are just created by the fudster but seem real already.

So, EOS is a coin that was created for mining so that every new block that is opened, rewards will be given, right?

Or was EOS created only for a short time so that the EOS team took advantage of it for a short time too?
I mean, there is no more seriousness in developing EOS until now by the EOS core team.

I think you should check out the latest ENF Medium blogs to get a better understanding of their Eos development plans. They're focusing on RAM and exSat to more effectively reach Bitcoin after the failed attempts with EVM, GameFi, and inscriptions.

The ENF team is still very active, attending blockchain/crypto/BTC conferences to introduce EOS to the community. However, in my opinion, their efforts are futile in reviving Eos or regaining its 2018 status.

Re: Are you holding EOS?
« Reply #220 on: November 16, 2024, 07:45:32 AM »
Not much to say about EOS coins because I have never bought EOS coins. I think in the altcoinstalks forum there are also many who have not bought EOS coins because if forced to buy it is also very dangerous because I see the value of EOS continues to fall.
Personally, I have never bought EOS coins, if given EOS coins, I might sell them immediately and I will immediately exchange them for Bitcoin. For some reason I also don't really understand EOS technology because so far I have only been familiar with BTC, ETH and BNB.

I'm a translator for the Vietnamese Eos community, and I believe that if users delve deeper, they'll appreciate the superior technology Eos offers. Eos's technology is years ahead of the market; many new features of other ecosystems like Near or Ether were already implemented on Eos in its early days of 2018. The Eos blockchain truly has the potential to serve the needs of this entire market!

However, Eos has been abandoned by BlockOne and faced numerous financial issues. The ENF's efforts have been unable to revive Eos, and consecutive failed experiments have disheartened users, while investors see no opportunities in the EOS price chart. Even though I work for Eos, I've also chosen to sell EOS for BTC or ETH to secure profits during this season.

not really just now but it had been done since and over time this is where the price is. the community is guess is discourage to the development of the project. not so interested anymore and only the block producers are making money.

there could be more factors. newer projects re pretty much better and re more supported by bigger community as well. i use to think the dump and the bad news are just created by the fudster but seem real already.
News will always affect the market and it is not made by fools they are the ones who make the market go down and take advantage of it by buying coins at low prices. Don't whales often do that by spreading bad news so that the price goes down then they buy at a low price, that is the manipulation of people with big capital.

I'm a translator for the Vietnamese Eos community,
Wow, you are so great to be included in the core team of EOS project for representatives from Vietnam. I appreciate you and greetings from me in Indonesia.

and I believe that if users delve deeper, they'll appreciate the superior technology Eos offers. Do you know the striking feature of EOS that is different from Ethereum and Near?
What I know for sure is that the EOS wallet does not have the prefix "0x..." like the Ethereum wallet.

However, Eos has been abandoned by BlockOne and faced numerous financial issues. The ENF's efforts have been unable to revive Eos, and consecutive failed experiments have disheartened users, while investors see no opportunities in the EOS price chart. So, EOS is working with Block ONE?
But Block ONE left EOS so that the finances of EOS collapsed, isn't that right?

Btw, your move seems very right because you chose to sell EOS to secure assets and change them to BTC or ETH.

I only join the Eos Vietnam community and support the translation of updates from Eos. I don't work for ENF, I receive rewards from Pomelo for public goods.

Eos has many groundbreaking differences at the time it was introduced. Eos is the first project to introduce the account naming feature, which was later learned by Near. For example, you can create an account with the address iloveeos and people can send EOS to this address.

BlockOne is the company that issued the ICO for Eos, they received 4B USD but used it for their own purposes instead of investing in Eos. This may explain the failure of Eos in the 2021 uptrend.
