What is ethereum waiting for?

Recently, the market has shown that bitcoin is set for a bull run. Yet, the ethereum chart is showing that, ETH is feebly struggling to even maintain its current price. What do you say about this? Why hasn't ethereum followed suit?

People are mostly in a hold pattern because BTC has stopped.  Most investors have probably already moved all their ETH into BTC to prepare for the rise.  I think it'll be at least another month or two before BTC really climbs significantly again, so I think it'll be a couple of weeks before ETH and other alts start to reluctantly rise again.

the bitcoin price increase at the moment is not much followed by other coins and that includes eth, but I believe at some point the price will definitely get better.

According to my own opinion there are somebody who manipulate the market or ethereum at this point because we see bitcoin is rising slowly but ethereum stays the same below $500. Maybe if they will pump the price that would be the time of eth rapidly increase.

From what happened last year, bitcoin started its bull run at the beginning of October and Ethereum followed suit in November. So bitcoin always take the lead for sometime and then the altcoins follow.

I think ethereumnis doing well now, Today It just market correction. So, It is normal.

I think It just market correction cause of negative news. I believe the market will rise again.

I think It was happened because Bitcoin is affect the value of ethereum.. It is my opinion.

Because etherium have a possibility that it will rise in a greater price , Probably etherium depends on the value of bitcoin .

The market is not all about going up. There is tendency to fall it down and stays longer or a short period of time. However, as ethereum is one of the most demanded in crypto it will rise again. It will get back to what ethereum lose.

indeed it is true that eth is fighting a decline in prices, but I think eth is very strong to deal with it all in its struggle.
