Can Crypto be more valuable than gold ?

I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?

Cryptocurrency has its advantages in the way that it seems to me that it is easily convertible and exchangeable. There are many exchanges and growing demand.

While this is just a theory and reasoning, but now you can see how Bitcoin dominates the market. Not a single altcoin could compete with it, and the first crypto currency was increasingly called a tool for hedging risks and "digital gold".

Crypto is valuable and worth but I think Gold is still better. I don't underestimate crypto potential but I still don't see strong reasons to say that crypto is better. Actually, I think it is no need to compare Gold and Crypto since they have own sides and advantages.

Cryptocurrency and gold are completely different financial assets. Therefore, they are very difficult to compare with each other. In addition, there is an eternal question in which units to compare them with each other. Bitcoin to a kilogram of gold, Satoshi with an ounce of gold or something else? Yes, they can be. Because in 2017, the most mainstream of cryptocurrency Bitcoin’s value surpassed the price of one ounce of gold. That price movement marked a weird yet auspicious moment in world economic history. Although gold has traditionally been used as a secure asset and cryptocurrencies are subjected to volatility of their price, still Bitcoin’s rise in value is regarded as encouraging for the other cryptocurrencies. If it continues to gain value like this in the future, Bitcoin can prove itself as an easier to accept and a legitimate form of currency.

Crypto is based on technology. You know tech changes everytime as many inventions and innovations added on the real world. It's just that crypto is now the golden age where digital is implemented already. Btc already expensive compared to gold right? You can see that it has surpass its value in terms of price and usage. Of course btc supply is fixed too, so there is no issue there about the law of supply and demand. But I believe gold will never perish but only rise as it needed in our world on some aspect.

I think cryptocurrency cannot be more valuable than gold. Because gold has always been, is and will be the most valuable. But I would really like cryptocurrency to be more valuable than gold. But these are just my dreams.

Cryptocurrency has many advantages over Gold, Cryptocurrency can increase its value in a very short time, and that has never happened in Gold.
