Not all ICOs end up scam because the market situation is very difficult which makes investors invest in old coins like BTC, altcoin does develop the latest technology with their ideas, but many ICO that succeed even projects that do not run the ICO can last until now.

Yes, there are many scam projects that make tokens that have no value. they could manipulate the market to register their tokens on the coinmarket cap. This is very detrimental to investors who do not know the project.

A scam project getting its coin listed on coinmarketcap? This is quite weird and new to me. Normally, scam projects do not even reach that stage because most of them do not have working product and end after the token sales where the project makes their money. Anyway, investors must be cautious and always alert about this and must be ready to do their own personal research on projects before investing in them because it is a free market and there are no fixed regulations to check scam projects for investors.

no one knows for sure whether or not you bought a fake coin.to new projects need to be treated with caution. I prefer old projects which are 3-4 years or more and which are included in the top coinmarketcap. such coins as ltc, etc, eth, nem are my favorite. And I returned my money in bundle because they have good tech and very good team..So early this year I noticed that a lot of coin is now scam and failed promises. So please if you want to buy any coin don't go to coinmarketcap only because coinmarketcap can list any coin without verifying it well, just go to their telegram group and ask questions I think this can help you stay away from scam coin...

Really. I think CMC is now being strict on listing. Also, they increase the daily required volume for a token or coin get listed. I just dont trust them before cause they list even shitcoin and known as pump and dump tokens. Good thing they now improved all the necessary requirements for the project. I guess the market now is goind. somewhere right? Hope you can advise a very good one on us

I think its not all. some are still genuine and honest, after the cryptocurrency popularity was increased many of aspiring tech start up has join the cryptocurrency bandwagon and aiming to disrupt existing centralized businesses or system. and because it was operated in Blockchain technology it means it was tokenized. so for me not all new coins are scam thats my stand about the issue.

There are always new coins being released almost everyday and its true that majority of them are scam or just not so competitive to such task in their projects, but there will be little chance of new promising coin

i was highly disappointed with this crypto buhaha. i finally run a cross check of all the airdrops i joined last year. only to discover that 90% are scam. they disappear leaving no trace of them. same might happen with current projects on going.  we are yet to see the full business getting close to crypto because of the scams involved.

I would agree most of the new cryptocurrencies are just scam projects that wanted to steal our precious money in the form of ICO's
or anything similar to that with tons of false promises that will eventually never happen in the future but there are still few good new
coins you only need to make due diligence to find.

Most of them are scams. They want to take some money in the potential investors and run away that is why we need regulations in this space so that the investors have some protection in case of fraud. However not all new coins are scams. there are new coins that has new innovations in this space.

I think not all coins are scam, it is just turning scam when a project  team and admins decide to be a scammer, also if the project fails and some people invest on it and the value of coins suddenly drop down, it is gonna turn to be a scam.
