Can ethereum replace bitcoin?

Hey guys, do you think is it possible? I mean, can any crypto currency replace bitcoin? For example ethereum, I think it is a good alternative! What’s your opinion?

Ya i believe so, it is just that the time has not come yet for ethereum to overtake bitcoin and dominate cryptocurrency, although cryptocurrency is dominate by bitcoin at the moment but it will be obsolete sooner or later unless more developments is happening on bitcoin in order for bitcoin to dominate.

ETH replace BTC? I am not sure about it, friend. Since Bitcoin looks to lead all cryptocurrencies at all times, I think Bitcoin will be on top crypto coins lasting. I don't see a clue that ETH will replace BTC, especially in the near future. So, just think that BTC will be on the first rank longer.

I am very pessimistic when ethereum replaces bitcoin. It does not doubt the ability of ethereum. But seeing the fact that has been going on so far. Is very difficult for ethereum to realize that desire.

Ethereum ist a great coin but in my opinion eth never will replace bitcoin.Bitcoin is the most popular and used coin in the world.If the bitcoin fall all cryptomarket will fall.

No. The ethereum cannot replace bitcoin as they were built with different technologies. Bitcoin was built as a digital store of value and a payment option while the ethereum was built to handle the smart contracts. Perhaps, in the future, some coin will come and replace the bitcoin but not ethereum.

Ethereum is the top altcoins lot of Icos following this network although last year ethereum almost failed thus whole icos markets are died as well it not recovered yet but still Bitcoin is dominating the crypto world.

Ethereum and Bitcoin are not the same but have the purpose of making transactions as safe and comfortable as possible, maybe someday Ethereum will outperform Bitcoin but takes a long time to shift the position of Bitcoin, Ethereum is now good with the technology they have, even ETH does not need to replace Bitcoin because both are good for investment

I know Ethereum is a great coin that already increased its value very impressive. But to replace Bitcoin is a hard thing, I guess Bitcoin will be irreplaceable. So, I don't see the chance for now.
