Can ethereum replace bitcoin?

Now, when BTC popularity is awesome, no one crypto, even the most popular altcoin, Ethereum, can replaceit. However, we cannot foresee the future.

Yes, what you said is reasonable and makes sense. Bitcoin seems stronger and more popular day after day, this seems to continue till the bullish day. In this situation, no coins can compete with Bitcoin, including Ethereum. I don't see a chance for altcoins to beat Bitcoin. But it is my personal opinion only.

It can't be because Bitcoin is very pure when it was created by Satoshi Nakamoto so that he doesn't raise his identity in the public.
Very different from Ethereum which publishes its founder in public, namely Vitalik Butterin.

No, though anything can happen on a cryptocurrency but for one thing this can never happen.  There will be no other Cryptocurrency coins that will be able to replace Bitcoin, including Ethereum and other top-ranking Altcoin.

in my opinion, ethereum will not be able to replace bitcoin. enough as the second coin sticking to the rate of bitcoin in the second position. as good as any platform and smart contract implemented, bitcoin cannot be replaced.

It cannot occur to me how can it happen. Ethereum is good, but it is absolutely different. It cannot replaceBitcoin, and ETH cannot be called even a competitor on the #1 cryptocurrency.

I think for now Bitcoin is the boss I have not really seen any altcoins that could be able to replace bitcoin at this particular stage although etherum is actually trying to show efficiency it could be in time to come ,so for now bitcoin is still the dominant of the crypto market there's no really a competitor that may think of replacing Bitcoin in the future, although in crypto project anything can really happen that may cause the bitcoin to be replaced, etherum is trying to show that kind of treat to Bitcoin.
