Parity Technologies developers integrated the Constantinople code, the second part of the Metropolis' hardfork into their Parity Ethereum client.
Constantinople will be the second stage of the Metropolis hardfork and is expected to increase efficiency and reduce transaction fees on the Ethereum network.
Its activation will take place in October.
The first part of the Metropolis hardfork called Byzantium took place in October last year.
With the implementation of the Constantinople code in the Parity client, all suggestions for improving the network are included (EIP-1234, EIP-145, EIP-1014, EIP-1052, EIP-1283). The possible vulnerabilities will become known after further testing.
It is expected that the following implementations will introduce code changes to other Ethereum clients, including Geth, Trinity, cpp-ethereum, EthereumJ / Harmony and Aleth / Cpp-Ethereum.
