How many among you here think Starbucks is accepting bitcoin

We think before that bitcoin is already accepted in Starbucks but here what I've read earlier:

While Starbucks is venturing into cryptocurrency, with a joint partnership with Microsoft, it is not actually accepting the digital currency as tender yet. Instead, as announced by the Cafe giant, the company will work with the Intercontinental Exchange in operating a new company, Bakkt, which will “create an integrated platform that enables consumers and institutions to buy, sell, store and spend digital assets on a seamless global network”.

In the announcement, Maria Smith, Vice President of partnerships and payments, said that “Starbucks will play a pivotal role in developing practical, trusted and regulated applications for consumers to convert their digital assets into US dollars for use at Starbucks”.

However, spokespersons for the company have said that this does not mean that Starbucks will be accepting Bitcoin for payment. According to Motherboard, they said that it is important to note that they “are not accepting digital assets at Starbucks. Rather the exchange will convert digital assets like Bitcoin into US dollars, which can be used at Starbucks.

Though it is just that by now, the great thing here is that bitcoin as a leading crypto currency never cease stepping forward to claim the right position of crypto currency to the society.

I heard bitcoin will become a payment tool at Starbuck recently. and now this news is clear enough to me that the news is hoaxes. Their spokesman explained if they did not receive money payments in digital form.

Is that exactly true that Starbucks accept the Bitcoin as one of the payment method there? I have ever heard about this news. However, I never read form the official announcement on the Starbucks website. May be some people may give us the updates news, right? I think many of us think of acceptance of BTC in Starbucks.

I think it's pretty unlikely.  They may work with microsoft to create their own token though.  Be nice to be able to invest in StarBucks tokens, everyone loves to buy their milk coffee.

to be honest I have never heard this story before. the existence of these issues certainly proves that bitcoin is indeed already begun close to our lives and begin to think about its existence. starbucks himself was given a product that was initiated from the outside so the possibility of future developments may occur even though right now its only issues.

Starbucks will play with the game of crypto. This could be steppingstone to achieve initially the reward of being the giant coffee company. Once everything is ready, Starbucks will rapidly become more popular and the own token will have great demands.
