For this instances, I have observed that most of the users that are doing this is the whales investors. Since they can agressively manipulate the price because of their large investments. The only users that can benefit with pump and dump is the whales.

I think It is very difficult to know that a coun is pump and dump project. We must read white paper , roadmap and project's purpose.

I always look at the team. If it is solid, it will not throw the project so as not to compromise itself. Otherwise, they will lose confidence.

I don't think if there are ways to know if they manipulated the movement of the cryptocurrency market because most investors are not aware that this kind of strategy is happening.
