澳大利亚数据中心运营商将建成首个太阳能比特币矿场

8月9日消息，据CCN消息，澳大利亚一家数据中心运营商及其加密货币子公司正在开发他们所谓的该国首个由可再生能源驱动的“幕后数据中心”。
 
据报道，位于珀斯以南约200公里的煤矿小镇柯利的新设施，是由数据中心运营商DC 2和子公司D Coin开发，将由一家名为Hadouken的公司建造的太阳能发电厂提供电力。
 
该公司的主要目标是通过主要的可再生能源实现具有竞争力的电价，声称将提供澳大利亚成本最低、密度最高的数据中心。值得注意的是，该数据中心将提供为托管加密货币挖掘操作而定制的特定区域。
