美国夏威夷州电力公司陷入比特币骗局

据Khon2报道，近日有比特币诈骗者以Hawaiian Electric、Maui Electric和Hawaii Electric Light等美国夏威夷州电力公司的名义，向其客户提出有过期的公用事业账单需要客户支付，并且指示客户使用比特币进行支付，如果没有立即付款，诈骗者威胁他们要断开其电力服务。

对此，夏威夷电气公司(Hawaiian Electric company)表示，他们不接受比特币支付。

夏威夷电力公司客户服务高级副总裁吉姆·阿尔伯茨(Jim Alberts)说:“这不过是对一个老掉牙的骗局的一种新的曲解，但我们的建议是一样的:只要挂断就可以了。”“无论是比特币、礼品卡还是汇款单，我们的公司都不会威胁你，也不会让你为了满足非传统的支付要求而四处奔波。”
