Ripple is related to banks.  it has a collaboration with SWIFT and global banks. Some crypto users hate it because it deals with banks which is a centralized system

The main reason for the haters for Ripple is that it is completely centralized currency and some of the people don’t think it is even a cryptocurrency.For me,Ripple is good long term investment. but should be taken care with cautions and trends which will evolve as time grows.

The dev teams own more than half of the supply, it is a centralized blockchain which defeats the purpose of the technology, banks will never adopt this mainstream because if they want to get into the blockchain space, they will just create their own token.

In addition because the team own half then we can assume that they can manipulate the entire movement of banks in the future. So better for banks to do their own coin than adopt the system of ripple if the team still owns it until now.
