Though you are not far from the truth but what gives you money is the greatest therefore I choose bitcoin has the greatest though without internet bitcoin can't forum but bitcoin has changed the narrative of my story. Lights go out, you have no illumination in the cities, road accidents go through the roof!
There are no phones anymore, you can't call the firemen, the police the ambulance!
Ac no longer functions, you have thousands die of heat!
Going more seriously, hospitals are out of order, every single machine there from CT to RMN scans is out of order, and every life support machine is done.

But the biggest killer would be the absence of fridges, millions of tons of food will spoil, people will no longer be able to preserve that much food, and we will need to waste an incredible amount, or simple put we will not be able to feed the population anymore without a way to conserve what we produce now!

We went to the moon without the Internet, we developed vaccines without the Internet, we created nuclear power without the Internet, we built airplanes and submarines, we had credit cards and bank accounts, the world was still pretty advanced well before the Internet.

Cut way simpler things out of the equation like the car, the plane, the fridge, and you'll throw humanity centuries back.

No invention is to be called the greatest, rather it should be grouped as one of the greatest inventions made by man, to make the life of humans appear easy and simple.
