To me btc will only die when the technology on which it was built is destroyed or when no one choose to sell and buy anymore which can't happen in the ecosystem.

Making it a crime by governments to mine, hold, or operate services and exchanges of bitcoin, would probably kill it, or at least keep it out of hands of average people, and be more of an illegal black market currency.  Its probably not to hard to find out where the major mines are based on electricity consumption.  They could also ban electricity use for mining.

I do not think that it will die completely, but if the US, Russia, China or the European Union impose ban, this will strike a huge blow. Of course, such a possibility is too small but, Trump could write a tweet tomorrow and explain that he would ban all the cryptos.

Don't think there is scenario when Bitcoin may come to an end. There are too many people having it and using it and more and more companies start to take Bitcoin as a payment. Even if most of the countries will ban it - it will continue to live.

Agree with you mate. As long as there are so many believers of bitcoin, it wont easily die but rather it will continue to spreading worldwide whatever negativity going to happen. Maybe if internet globally shutdown it can totally shutdown bitcoin also and maybe it will die.

Bitcoin can die if there are no suppliers or investors who do not invest in bitcoin because that is vital for bitcoin because Ethereum has fallen far and returned as early as 2017
