If you're looking at crypto, you've already accepted that you're moving into a risky investment. Now you just need to decide what level of risk you're comfortable with. As with any investment, the general rule is to spread it. There's no harm putting some (maybe 10-20%) of your funds allocated for crypto into higher risk investments, and that would include ICOs. But everyone's personal levels will differ, some avoid ICOs completely. I haven't invested in any ICOs since the beginning of the year, mainly because I took such a hit because of the market drop. Would definitely get back into them though, just waiting for the market to show signs of sustained recovery. Maybe next year, unless a stunner crops up.
