There are too many air drops these days and i am wondering why these new projects put a whole lots of efforts to bank on these drops. Fortunately, a friend told me it a means to raise awareness for their crypto-currency project. Any other reasons for this air drops. Thank you

I think you've nailed the main reason; raising awareness of a project is key for it's success, even if many of the participants in airdrops don't actually end up investing their own money in a project. It makes more economic sense to use airdrops to promote rather than using traditional forms of advertising, especially if they add in certain caveats to control how the project is promoted. There's so many projects out there now that even the decent ones struggle to get noticed.

As it became a sort of standard to issue a certain amount of tokens in fprm of an airdrop which brings in exchange alexa ranking buzz and some of those ppl will buy more of the currency which is the main goal of the airdrop

but most of ppl do not care they bag the airdrop and sell asap …

Considering the fact that most airdrops require a ton of steps to get it, sign up here, follow there, like on 6 different platforms, getting awareness is certainly one goal.  Maybe it's also to show future investors that the coin is being used.

I agree, there are just too many out there. Better to do bounties, because on average, airdrop brings you 1$ (at least from my experience).

I personally agree, too many airdrod will give us many chance to join them. But we must be carreful because many scams.

Hello Zed30, sorry, but i have also carried out a research on this "too many air drops", and my findings shows that most projects embarked on this air drop because they want to reward its early supporters and investors who first bought their ICOs or tokens. I think this is also good for gieing out air drops.

Mostly just to raise awareness and gain some followers yep. Just so the project can fill their Telegram group with people who are not interested in the project and are there just to get some free doe

Before i usually joinesd airdrops but all of these are scams,i was so dissappointed by myself so i was thinking to undergo only in bounties nor airdrops anymore,sorry i didnt say dont join in airdrops,only at myself i was so stupid to choose the right one...so do research in anything we wanna do.

I am not sure but are you referring to the airdrops being given to holders of their coins or tokens?

There are still tons of legit airdrops out there. Maybe you joined at the time where you can new airdrops every minute but most of them would trick participants in giving out their private keys or those that only want to get referrals/followers/members in exchange of worthless tokens.

im no longer claiming airdrol since last 3 months, claiming airdrop is not worth it anymore to do, even bounty will give you small money nowaday

First of all most of the airdrops are scam, where few are real. The main reason for too many airdrops are only money and followers, just nothing! We just need to find a real airdrop list provider source who can always give non-scam airdrops.
