I  doubt  the  possibility  of  ethereum  been  the  next  bitcoin , because  ethereum is  still  in  third  position,  bitcoin  is  more  reliable  and  have  more  potential  and  number  one  in  all.

I agree with you and it is really impossible for Ethereum to replace Bitcoin the king of cryptos and if take a look at coin
market cap you will see that the dominance of Bitcoin is more than 50% over all the other alternative cryptocurrencies
and that's so huge dominance.

But I think the thread starter is asking if Ethereum will replace Bitcoin, I don't know if its the spot on coin market cap or its
technology but I guess he is pointing to coin market cap top one spot for market total capitalization.

That can happen, but ethereum must be able to overcome the problem like some scam projects that have used their platform, I still believe that ethereum because they have a good team and developer, maybe in the day ethereum prices will be better, but cannot replace Bitcoin for price.

That is the big problem on the Ethereum platform of smart contracts, scam projects can easily create their own token and
start an initial coin offering and this scam ICOs should be stopped. Ethereum has an awesome developer and I know that
he is aware of those scam projects hiding in the Ethereum community.
