Despite the fact that bitcoin is reliable and safe, it can not be the main currency of the world. Citizens can further widely use bitcoin and consider it the main currency in the world. However, no state will abandon its national currency and will not recognize bitcoin or other decentralized crypto currency as the main currency of the state. There are many reasons for this, but the main ones are the high price volatility of bitcoins and the impossibility of controlling cash flows in that currency.

I really don't see bitcoin being used specifically as a currency worldwide, but it's definitely going to bring a lot of attention to crypto in general.  A better coin can be designed and used for this purpose, but bitcoin will be alright for no as a placeholder.

Maybe it can, worldwide but not all countries, cause some of them think of bitcoin as illegal especially because of no country holds bitcoin
