I think that the decision to implement the merit system there was unfortunately necessary. Thousands of new accounts every week, people posting nonsensical posts in broken English on most sub-forums, all in all the situation has become quite chaotic. Tho I am not sure how I feel about the recent demotion of jr. members without any merit. I would probably say it was necessary as well even if it has hurt some genuine users.

I don't know what happened at Bitcointalk, bro. Many people and forum members there experienced a decline in rank one level below. I don't know what the main cause is, but it's all done by the Bitcointalk Admin, I don't know what that means.

Now is the time of difficulties to rank up in bitcointalk but here in altcoinstalks still easy to rank up as long as you post helpful post. This place will become popular due to this bitcoin difficulties to rank up.

Bitcointalk is currently lowering its ranks. Many rankings are derived by Bitcointalk. For me it's very beneficial for this Altcoin talk forum. There will be many people who start to pursue and dive in this Altcointalk Forum. And hopefully this forum will be more crowded with immigrants from Bitcointalk.

I certainly felt unhappy with that circulate, i used to be in Bitcoin talk on account that last 12 months I do not do shitposting but i'm still demoted to amateur. I realize loads of contributors have a good time approximately it because they will lesser opposition in signature campaign.

New rules that make a lot of rank decrease. I also experienced that. they do this to reduce participants who break the rules of the forum.

Yeah, it's super annoying. People who already had high ranks were gifted with all this merit... but any newbie has to earn it. It's just about impossible to earn Full Member status anymore. That's why I started using this site again.

karma method is most fair and profitable like in Reddit, it's very useful because if you just post spam you will have a negative karma and can't join signature campaigns.... merit system is ridicoulous and I hope many people will come here after this decision

It has become more challenging for bounty hunters on that forum. Either get one merit to become a Jr. Member or avail of the copper membership to be eligible for signature bounties. This should be good news for this forum, expect more users to come here.

Good for them. Even though I do not appreciate the merit system, the user number has increased a lot and the quality has decreased a lot over there. They have been discussing about 1 merit for JR members for a long time.

I think this way only wants to make the Bitcointalk forum even tighter so that the quality of posts is very necessary to increase the account to become a of Jr member and can join the bounty program later.

Bitcoin lowered its rank due to some members irregularities that made the admin to implement the new system. To move to another level needs more efforts and compact understanding in order to get merit for informative post.

I just think to invite the newbies to come on altcoinstalks. To survive there and try to get something impossible are just wasting time. Why don't to think for moving to the another forum. Here, they can start to build new accounts with more friendly forum regulation.
