Do you trust ERC20 tokens?

The trust doesn't lie within ERC20 Standard token it's who ever runs the company behind said token. Not everyone wanted to create a blockchain coin so they went with ERC20 created from ETH. Most good hearted ICO's was because the project company didn't have enough fund to created their vision so funding helps. Then you have the ones that jumped on the ICO bandwagon to just get rich with no vision in the future.

ERC20 standard is flawed though, the main problem is lack of possibility to handle incoming ERC20 transactions, that were performed via transfer function of ERC20 token. Millions of dollars in crypto has been loss from users because of ERC20 standard. So my advice is if you have your token holders best interest in mind, go with ERC223 Standard.

Last year in early december I bought eBitcoin token which turned out to be a scam. Luckily for me I sold them before the ePRX snapshot but alot others have made losses. I really believed this token would be a succes but I've realized that alot of these ERC20 tokens have the same things in common. The devs (or better said scammers) create a lot of hype and pretend their token to be the real deal while they never intended to create a working product.

many token are untrusted, but if we can find token with good dev, we can found many good project Like EOS.
so i think we must make many research about token , before we buy or decide to invest some project.

I still trust the ERC20 token.ERC20 I think it is very easy to make it and this is very safe because I'm either using in to store my token and if there are project scam ,I think this has nothing to do with the token ERC20.

I've done a lot of transactions and save Crypto using the ERC20 platform. So I believe so use this platform to use as an investment asset. In addition the fee is cheaper as well when compared to Bitcoin.

In crypto, coins are cryptocurrency with its own blockchain and tokens are cryptocurrency built on several other blockchain coins. Litecoin has its own blockchain, so this is a coin. Bela depends on the Ethereum blockchain, so that's a token. Why not? I like and trust ERC20 tokens as i am a trader and i trade altcoins regularly. You have to do research regularly on different coins before investment. Don't invest in any coin without research. So select a proper ERC20 tokens and hold or trade. You should be remembered that airdrop tokens are mostly fake.

ERC20 is just the "nature" of the coin and it says that it is based on the blockchain Ethereum. It's just that many tokens are created on the blockchain Ethereum and these tokens are the most common. But this does not mean that among those who create ERC20 tokens are many scammers. With the same probability you can become a victim of fraudsters such as buying tokens based on Stellar, TRON, NEO.

Not all erc20 tokens can be trusted as many of them are fake tokens... many of the contracts where not audited . You have to do a through research before going into any project

Just look at the top 30 coins on the market to choose a project.Many of them have good potential for growth.For most tokens erc-20 takes time before they will be able to prove itself.Most tokens won't survive.

There are some ERC20 tokens which I even trust more than some of these coins while some tokens have nothing good in them so those types of tokens I don't trust them.

In my opinion, basically the problem is not the ERC20 token. But the dev, therefore, we should be careful. Because, it seems that now many projects end scam

I think people do not trust these projects only because they were very much on the market and they were able to make a big mess in their reputation.

I totally trust it. 90 percent of my investment is made up of erc20 tokens. So far I've had no hardship. After that, I don't think I will have any problems.

Yes,  I trust in ERC20 tokens. I think I have gotten alot benefits from ERC 20 tokens.  It is secure and usable.
