Will Dogecoin have a future?

Dogecoin has been my favorite alt coin for quite a long time. It serves as a good cryptocurrency for tipping others, as well as being a fun and inexpensive medium of exchange.

However, I'm worried what might happen to Dogecoin in the future, since it has been quite some time that no new version of the QT wallet has been mentioned, neither some innovation to keep it going for the long term.

It would become ideal for Dogecoin to add SegWit to its code, and gain traction if it gains acceptance from the miners. Then, if it manages to become the first cryptocurrency to accept the scalable solution, it could rise in popularity once more (not to mention that transaction will be near instantaneous).

Nevertheless, Dogecoin is a great cryptocurrency being inexpensive and relatively stable, making it a great way to tip others or send micropayments faster than BTC at a fraction of the cost.

Doge has a large community. that made me interested in doge. I like to use doge because of the low prices and fast transactions.

If you look at the value of the Dogecoin digital coin, the current value is still very cheap. But this coin continues to show improvement. Dogecoin has a strong future considering it has a huge userbase and following with Reddit.  If it was to die, it would have already by now but the fact that it is still around despite not having any updates in a long time means that once development becomes active again or it gets taken over that it would only go one way - up.

It is interesting to observe that dogecoin, which was conceived as a joke, now has a huge capitalization and is a promising coin. And at the largest cryptoforum hope for it. Dogecoins has a bright future in the crypto world as it is started a joke but now it is considered a wise investment Dogecoin is not deflationary since its supply is uncapped, the inflation rate now is 5.26%, 4% in 2019 and 3.24% in 2025 this will make the coins being stable.

I really don't understand why Dogecoin community is still so big after its creator said more than 1 year ago that this coin was created only as a joke and doesn't have any real purpose.  Personally I'm out and I don't want to invest in it as there are many other good coins with strong community and working team like ETH, EOS; NEO; Ada Cardano.

It's stuck around this long so I don't see any reason why it'd go away. I think it has unlimited supply, so you don't really feel like you're making a mistake by spending it. It could become the currency of the internet.

for me you are not worried about the future of dogecoin, I believe that the development of dogecoin prices will also be better in the future, because seeing prices getting better now. and also altcoin dogecoin that is so strong.
