Will Dogecoin have a future?

I personally do not suggest investing in Dogecoin for the following reasons:The continued inflation is not good from an investment standpoint. There is a high chance that you will not get good returns on your investment.
The father of the project has left the cryptocurrency world for an undetermined period of time. This is not a bad thing in itself (the father of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, has been MIA for almost all of Bitcoin’s life), but Dogecoin has become directionless since his departure.

Recently, I have heard almost nothing about dogecoin, or the calm before the storm, or just the project is developing quietly, or they may not know what to do again with dogecoin to flourish as before.

From some of the sources I read, it was said that this coin would increase by 8x in 2019. This means that the future of Dogecoin is very promising to be used as an investment asset. If you look at the value of the Dogecoin digital coin, the value is still very cheap. But this coin continues to show improvement.

Dogecoin has been my favorite alt coin for quite a long time. It serves as a good cryptocurrency for tipping others, as well as being a fun and inexpensive medium of exchange.

However, I'm worried what might happen to Dogecoin in the future, since it has been quite some time that no new version of the QT wallet has been mentioned, neither some innovation to keep it going for the long term.

It would become ideal for Dogecoin to add SegWit to its code, and gain traction if it gains acceptance from the miners. Then, if it manages to become the first cryptocurrency to accept the scalable solution, it could rise in popularity once more (not to mention that transaction will be near instantaneous).

Nevertheless, Dogecoin is a great cryptocurrency being inexpensive and relatively stable, making it a great way to tip others or send micropayments faster than BTC at a fraction of the cost.

Yes I think Dogecoin will have a great future. It is very potential coin and I believe It will be the top 3 at the future.
