Longest ICO period ever?

Some ICO lasted 2 or 3 months including Pre-Sale period.

For the record, did any of the past ICO's extend their crowdfund for more than 2 to 3 months? What is the result after that?

I think if according to them the icon is not satisfying then they will extend, and the same or better results are only two kemingkina

Indeed the procurement period ICO was very diverse. many of the ICO are indeed held up yearly. sometimes even a long time ago because it had to be postponed or because of other things. but usually this lasts around ICO 6 months, this is normal.

each project has a different purpose. there is also ICO duration for up to 6 month and up to one year.
I have already joined the ICO project that run for one year and the results are very good. the project is developing.

Obviously an ico that is extending its ico period is doing it because it didn't reach its goals, and in this slow market conditions it is very likely that many icos are going to have to do that, however I really do not think that there is some kind of correlation between the time that an ico last and their success in the future, so in average all of those icos that extended its ico period should fail at the same rate as all the other projects.

There is definitely a growing number of ICOs that are being extended. I can only surmise that most of the extensions are due to the current market conditions and projects are struggling to raise the necessary funds. Could also have something to do with the number of ICOs when compared to the number of potential investors. Hopefully things will improve over the next 12-18 months.

Suchapp lasted a couple months.  The Bounty Program had to be at least 6 months

The longest ICO I have participated in is half a year, and the development for BETA is up to 1 year.
I guess that is the ICO that the police continue to pursue because of fraud. LOL (forget about it).

The longest ICO i do is like 4-5months and the result of the ICO is not very good also, if a particular ICO extend its bounty i will think that most probably the ICO is not able to hit the hard cap or even the softcap so they must employ this strategy.

I saw icos longer than a year.

The obvious reason is, they can't get enough money or money they think they can get, so they are doing extensions.

Of course famous EOS is already a year or more and will last for ever  , I think.

Already gathered billions and nobody knows what to do with all this money. This is not a joke because I have read an article with the team and they don't know what to do with ll this funds. Just hilarious.

Good that we have EOS finally working and already there is almost so much DAPPs as on Ethereum chain so EOS is a big competition for ETH.

I think this is due to the overestimation of the amounts requested for this investment.if reasonable investment targets are set, there will be no more time.

Most of the ICO that extended their period didn't sell enough coins. They are most likely to fail than succeed. This is based on what I personally experience and also what I notice from the ICO's I am monitoring. It is not recommended to invest on those ICO's because there is not that much demand on the services offered and the team or community behind it is not that great.
