Why wouldn't you invest on ripple?

Hello there,

I am new at this topics, many of my  friends said that ripple is the worst cryptocurrency,
 because don't represent the spirit of a cryptocurrency has to be.

May be someone can bring me more reasonable argument about why i wouldn't invest on ripple or in other hand, invest on it.

please, all the help will be appreciate because i want really learn all about crypto.

I invest in Ripple. Do you know why? Riak is a centralized coin that has the support of top banks in several large countries. That's why the Ripple community is so strong and I believe this coin will be a potential coin in the future.

I wouldn't invest (again) in Ripple since it's a centralized blockchain. The real value is in Ripple Labs, the company, rather than XRP as the token in my opinion.
Time will tell of course, wouldn't be surprised if XRP is worth 10x what it is now in years to come, but if so I'm ok with missing that

Yes too many people dont like Ripple. But mate if your target is earning money. You can earn money from ripple. Because every bull market ripple pumps hard. So you can earn money. If you are not here for technology or 500x gains you can earn money with ripple. But if you want to invest real crypto currencies You can definetly invest btc eth zil ont neo xlm etc.

Well the Ripple company owns the vast majority of the supply and it's a centralized blockchain... so it kind of goes against the founding principals of cryptocurrency. That said, it is interesting and has potential to see a lot of usage within the banking sector.

Actually there are some strong reasons for me not to invest in Ripple. First, because Ripple is a banking coin, which means it is Centralized, there may still be many Crypto users who still like it, but for me it's not. For the second reason, because the Ripple market cannot develop like other coins, so I cannot estimate the potential of the RIpple market in the future.

Because Ripple is mostly centralized.  The Ripple blockchain is controlled by Ripple. No matter where XRP resides, it can be moved by Ripple. Meaning they have control of XRP wallets. They can lock YOU out if they choose to. And that’s not decentralization. In a nutshell, Ripple is not helping the people. They are helping banks.

Maybe your friend doesn't really understand, what is the ripple, in my opinion the ripples have good potential, because the ripples are supported by big bank banks in the world, and that makes ripples popular.
