Learn about BB Code (7 easy steps)
« on: September 24, 2018, 08:40:30 AM »
Many of us have been in trouble with BB code. Someone can use it and some can not. Especially for those who are new to this forum, this post is my today.

Because we have come here for this forum, that means we can use common usage. So, I tried to highlight those difficulties.

Ask for help if you do not understand anything and correct it if corrected.

Let's know.

1. Strike Through

This means that you have a mark on your writing. This is usually used when you post something as wrong or you want to write a new post. People do not understand you wrong so you can mark new ones on your previous writing.
For example - this Coding BB Code

Code: [Select]
This is [s]Coding[/s] BB Code

2. Bitcoin Symbol

How do we use that symbol for Bitcoin? Bitcoin's logo is marked in the image. You can use Bitcoin Symbol by clicking here.

Code: [Select]
[btc]

3. Glow

This is basically used for the background of any writing. If you want to change the background of a word, then select that word or sentence and click on the image shown below. Now you want to change the color. Instead of writing glow = red instead you can name the color of your choice.

Code: [Select]
[glow=green,2,600]Background[/glow]

4. Horizontal Rule

This is a simple thing. You can use this code if you want to write two paragraphs separately. That means there will be a stain at the bottom of the first writing. Then another writing will start.

5. Font Size

This is a lot easier. Size is usually given 10. You can pay more or less if you want.

6. Sup/Sub

I do not remember the whole mining of these two at the moment. If someone knows, you must tell. But I say work. One is that we have to do the job of the square that we have in the figure and sometimes at the bottom of the square, when we use the same sign symbols in two ways.

7. Code

Whenever we write something or add a picture or website, they are edited through code. Now if you enter the code, the result of that code will be output. But if you want to tell someone only the code, then you have to use code tags.

If you need any help other than these, please comment here. I will try to answer the coalition as quickly as possible. thanks to everyone.

I think this is a choice and setting in the default state that we can choose. To complete the thread, my suggestion is that you can show the results with pictures. I mean the comparison before and after using bb code that you mentioned in the thread. Then you can explain how to insert images on a thread like you do, because in BBCode in inserting images is still confusing for me. Thanks.

Thank you for your suggestion. Yes, you are right if i do that it might be better and more effective than this post. I will try to make a post or modify this post as you suggested.

I don't mind that OP posted a guide which was already explained by other member especially if he did it a lot better. This is always a good thing to post updated and improved guides.

I did sometimes this same if I couldn't find an idea on what to post. I was searching for guides and tried to post a better one. Like our OP with better description or added photos. Works every time and I had no troubles ever.

I have to add that my content was always original and not plagiarized even a small part from other members work. Only so you can stay safe and gain a lot of positive karma.
