personally, I have never invested in ico. but basically, in choosing ico to invest we must really choose it well. choosing ico that has good prospects is not easy. therefore, we must be more careful.

My first ICO invested was on project called Friendz, it's a middle of bullish and bearish season when I invest but the trend are on track of price depletion. The price when it hit the market was near its ICO price but few weeks after that it has been dumped 10x. Now the price I've loss 80% investment fund on that one. Now I clearly check the ICO to invest with carefully. Actually that project I invest was good its just the market affect so much the price when it was starting trading. Team is very professional, there is a product. Only market crash the only reason I'm thinking. I once invested in ICO, Before I invested in the ICO Project, I examined it and researched it. When finished I am sure that the Project is not a Scam. Immediately I take a position to invest in it. It is good to do some due diligence before investing in ICO's to lessen the chances of getting scammed or getting involved in failed projects. I do not join much ICO's these days since only a few have what I look for. An ICO should have a working prototype before I decide to invest.

I join quite a number of ICO till now, i do experience ICO that make me lose money and ICO that help me make many fold of my original capital. You are right that you should do your research and everything but we cant deny the fact that market manipulation still exist so no matter how well we research on an ICO foul play still tend to happen but we should still do what we can do to increase the chance of profit earning.
