I believe that bitcoin is really a risky type of investment that can really lead us to loss if we don't have learnings on how it works or if we don't have gold strategy on it. Fully agree. Don't think that any altcoin will reach at least 3000$ the nearest year. If you want to earn you can do that using btc.
Now is a good time for investment and all you need is to be patient enough.

if you want to invest in Bitcoin for long term investment, yes it is safe and very impossible to get a big profit and you must hold around 3-4 years.
but if you just want to invest below 2 years i think thats is not too good.
because market will go down and down again for now.
