No,  I doubt ethereum  will reach above $ 1000 at the end of this year.  Because  the crypto currencies  are still struggling  and unpredictable. I hope It will reach above $ 500 at the end of this year.  In my opinion It is potential  to do that.

I believe that Ethereum is a coin that has the potential to have a high price, but I am a little doubt the price of Ethereum in 2019 will be able to touch the number $ 1000.  indeed it is still below the price at the end of 2017, but to repeat that this year seems like it can't.

I hope It will happen,  ethereum  will touch prices  above 1000$. But I think It is so difficult,  because I see ethereum  is still struggling today.. Maybe It will reach at 600$ at the end of this year,  It is realistic. But,  Lets see mate.

I hope It will happen,  ethereum  will touch prices  above 1000$. But I think It is so difficult,  because I see ethereum  is still struggling today.. Maybe It will reach at 600$ at the end of this year,  It is realistic. But,  Lets see mate.

$600 is really quite a real price for Ethereum even this year, but it will be able to reach this price only if the price of Bitcoin continues to rise and rises to at least $18,000. If this does not happen in this year, then we will have to wait for the beginning of 2020, when the change to PoS is planned.

Remember that ETH price sailed over $1000 starting January 4, 2018 and subsides on February 3, 2018 at the price of $991.94 (source CMC). So, it's possible, and I think it's headed that way.

Not this year, but around mid-2020 I believe we will see a rise in all crypto market. As a long term view, $1000 is nothing for Ether. It should be around 3-5k in the next bull.

Still, it depends on how the market moves either downtrend or uptrend. The fact is the crypto market is unpredictable and we don't know what is possible happen, so it would be better if as of now we don't conclude that things. Let's just patiently wait and let time can tell soon when we saw Ethereum not only surviving but it is profitable on us those still holding until now. Because I also don't have any doubt that Ethereum will lead all altcoins and survive forever.

I don’t even understand why the question arose about the survival of the ethereum coin. Many coins and tokens may disappear from the cryptocurrency market, however ethereum will remain.
