Best of luck to you and others! I felt the same a year ago when I first got into Bitcoin. I went for a similar approach:
1. Read, learn and understand how Bitcoin works
2. Buy and use Bitcoin to test crypto functionality
3. Learn technical analysis, market cycles, etc

Now I'm on studying programming to improve my usefulness in the space
