If the project uses the ethereum platform then the ethereum price will dowb automatically, because that project will sell ethereum which they got when they sell their tokens.
But there is a project that promises to return ethereum which is invested by investors when the project cannot reach softcap.
The more of ico projects that scam, the more the price of ethereum dump if the developers sells ethereum which they got with very cheap price.
