Facebook against bitcoin?
« on: October 01, 2018, 03:33:26 AM »
Because they believe that Facebook prohibits bitcoin and ICos and other cryptocurrency
The new Facebook policy will not allow announcements of known digital currency exchanges or initial offers of currencies.
Is it to avoid fraud or false advertising? That's why?

The most important thing that I know, Facebook banned the ICO Ads because around some month or years ago to many scam ICO which the Ads we can find at facebook as the big social media in the world. If this still continue, so people will thinking if Facebook joined to make scam ICO project, this will make Facebook look bad because this Ads (scam ads).

I think yes since facebook became the asset of many scammers to scam people so it is better to do that. With this it will limits the percentage of the scammers to scam people.

Facebook is considered against bitcoin because of the prohibition of bitcoin ads on Facebook. This step is taken by Facebook to prevent irresponsible people from distributing non-credible financial products and services.

it's true that there was news of a ban on Facebook advertisements, but I think it's fake advertising, and it's just for manipulation.

@expander, but I've heard the news that Facebook prohibits crypto ads because Facebook plans to launch their own crypto money. Regardless of whether or not this news is correct, I regret the current ban on advertising on Facebook.

In nowadays there are so much scam ICOs that victimized innocent people. Facebook is easy way to catch the potential person who are capable to invest as much as they can. This is why Facebook banned advertising ICO as long as possible.

I also often see Facebook that was just created by the ICO Team for fanspage cannot be opened after 1 month active.
Maybe Facebook doesn't want fraud from the ICO and it makes it like being closed to cryptocurrency.
