To be honest, I don't make money from a single ICO yet. I don't know why my bounty coins are very cheap when they are listed on exchanges. I will continue to keep them till they have good prices on market.

Some investments in the ico project in my opinion can benefit. All depends on how well you choose or rate the ico project. But I do not recommend if you do not understand the concept of the ICO project. very risky if you don't know how the ico project works and until you get a profit.

The only way that i made some money from an ICO become via participation of their bounty campaign. i am not irritating of becoming an investor in recent times in reality due to the fact i still lack fiat to start with despite the fact that i am giving it a few thought sometime. I prefer to invest in any exchanger rather than investment in ICO (Initial Coin Offering). It helps me to research and collect data because its all information are already on Coinmarketcap and other platforms. ICO coins need to confirm whether this coin are fake teams or real team-this confusion is acute now.

Investing in ICo's now is a huge risk because we can't tell which is genuine and which is fake. The way many ICo's are right now, after buying their tokens and waiting for them to get listed on an exchange, the price after listing will be way lower than the ICO price so what's the point investing in the first place. Of course,  I have gotten alot benefits from crypto. I have done trading and participated in  bounty campaign.  They are very profitable.
