I agree, we have to wait and see what will happen between the ethereum and bitcoin rankings. So far ethereum is the same assumption with threats to bitcoin in the past and in the present.

 Ethereum is 7 years younger than Bitcoin, and it is not yet strong enough to be a serious competitor to Bitcoin. But Ethereum is developing very well and in the future it is possible and will begin to be selected in tight to Bitcoin.

I think its not, blockchain technology are can't  be likened by those NBA players that you had mentioned because they're  still human like us that has a boundary in life. By the time goes by, we people will getting old and lebron and simmons will be replaced soon with regards of their limitations.  Bitcoin and Etherium have different  features and functions in terms of blockchain tech. They always compete in price! They always differ each other, currently bitcoin leads all the crypto currency but ethereum is the queen of ICO. the platform in which almost all token initially launch its ICO.

Any altcoin is now a threat to bitcoin, but as long as big players choose bitcoin for investment, nothing bad will happen with bitcoin. From the very beginning, bitcoin was the most popular cryptocurrency, and I think it will remain at least for many years.

I think no it not possible almost ethereum is the major cryptocurrency in cryptomarket so it maintaining the second largest market capitalization infact ethereum technology more popular altcoin technology but the whole cryptomarket depends only bitcoin price.

Ethereum is a threat to bitcoin? Yes it is. We all know that ethereum was created by a russian programmer on 2013, and it was launched on 2015. After 3 years it is next to bitcoin in terms of popularity and value.

Let me show you some NBA perspective on this, bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency right? same as LeBron as the king of NBA. But here comes ethereum the prince of cryptocurrency just like Ben Simmons as the prince of the NBA. The prince will dethrone the king on the eastern conference finals same as ethereum that will dethrone bitcoin in the next couple of years. Wether we like it or not the king will reach its limit. Mark my word. Trust the ethereum process!
