Telegram is like a facebook for the whole crypto and there are many groups which talk only for crypto and in addition discord plays the same role.

I don't believe Facebook at all and don't even use it anymore. They started to work for making money only and forgot about the users.
What Telegram groups can you recommend?
Is it true FB requires passport scan?

Hadn't heard of it but it will be not surprising.
What they do now is that they ask to take a photo and send them in order to prove it's you..
And it happens after the SMS verification. I don't think they have a right to do that, especially when they always speak about privacy.

selfie? :D omg
don't know about. Curious

And do they explain their "behaviour"? they consider it's normal and sure they do this for users' security :D

I think it's been a long time since they don't give a f*ck on what they're doing.
You know, there are many users which would send their passport scan if they'll ask as no one think that big corporation will cheat people like this..
It's a sad story on the whole but they switched-on my brain and I understood that it's time to find something worthy and forget about all these money-makers.

Campaign that leads to lose of users? I don't know. They understand that biggest amount of their users will stay with them and they believe that no one will create a kind of new social network that will replace Facebook.
That's the main reason why do they feel permissiveness.

In Telegram it's easier to find than FB
Are you seriously going to look for cryptography on Facebook or Telegram?)))

Why not?
The Author wants to get expert opinion & chat with profs, as I understood

There are many specialized services. There are more chances to find testers who will be useful.

Can you please name some of them? As it's the first time I'm looking for something like that.

Personally I think Discord is better than Telegram and Facebook. It might not be as busy yet, but you get the networking without the headache  ;)

Had you tried it yourself? Is it easy to find testers there?
As I need ones that will work without a certain payment.

Yes, you can find such testers. You need to come up with motivation for them. You can give them bonuses according to the results of testing. It may not be money, but love bonuses associated with your service.

Crypto Community Building we are big believers in community-building. We have invested heavily in it as a firm, contributing to the ecosystem in various ways that are consistent with our values (e.g., fostering diversity in tech, supporting women entrepreneurs and immigrant entrepreneurs). And we have invested heavily in it across our portfolio companies. Our insight a decade ago that developers were becoming the kings of IT led to a fruitful investment thesis, led by my partner Chip, around developer driven adoption and community building (as exemplified by our investments in MongoDB, Codecademy, Crashlytics and Firebase).

I see a lot of recommendations about reddit, for example, and still do not see any arguments that would prove their qualities, which are better than telegrams that can have communities and  channels  :-\

Same thing for me. Reddit is a place for everyone and who knows if everyone post the right content there.
I know that moderators check every post there, but still.. I'm not sure if it takes place all the time.
