Do we Need Altcoin?

I think it's depend upon how those altcoins use to its form like bnb coin which is used binane itself to support their exchange site by get funded and benefits of those holder is to have discount by doing trading, can less withdrawal fees and etc.

It is like saying: we have boots, why do we need other shoes? Altcoins do not only add variety to cryptocurrency, they are also real projects that work in various areas of human activity that improve our life and make it much more convenient and easier. In addition, it is one of the main ways to improve cryptocurrency. Therefore, we need altcoins. Useless projects will leave the market and remain only necessary and demanded.

Yes some alternatives coins has another different of purpose in using it except just for the digital money and it is good for progress of cryptocurrencies space, it is mean many people who addopt technology behind of the blockchain for their businesses.

The other reason why we need alternatives coins because it can be used for competitor of bitcoin its self as the first cryptocurrencies in the world, competition are needed by cryptocurrencies space to be more better in coming future, the last reason alternatives coins can be used for trading on the market it is fast way to make money in cryptocurrencies.

Yes, every altcoin has different purposes and there is need for them. It is like, if we having tons of websites. Although I think most of the altcoins are useless and will go to zero, some of them have real purposes and we need them for sure.

My answer is yes. We don't need all of altcoins on the market but we do need some of them. Each altcoin is born for a purpose: ETH for smart contract, Dash for anonimity, Atom for linking different blockchains... Those are features that bitcon doesn't have and they help complete the cryptocurrency world.
