Some of you people get negative karma and stop posting and reduce your activities in this forum. Don't be afraid. I also got negative karma at the very beginning. But i improved my post quality. Do more research and share useful information. So I have some some positive karma now. Don't get depressed if you get negative karma.

I remember, and it does seem like you have turned it around and in a big way, congratulations!  Karma isn't there really to be a deterrent from posting but merely a way of ensuring that quality is maintained at a minimal level and to reduce spam.  I promise I will never give  -Karma unless someone is blatently advertising or posts something in completely the wrong section or is putting in low-level spamming efforts, and I'm sure is how most people feel.

Thanks for noticing me. With the help of higher rank members and following the forum rules I change the table. I know karma is not a big fact but its a signature of success that your hard work is supporting the forum and helping the members.

I think it's very important when you have a negative karma to  ask moderators  to check it this was made by mistake or otherwise ask why so that you can learn from you mistakes and get positive karma soon with some good quality posts.

Nowadays karma is important because you need some karma to get higher rank. And many bounties you can't join if you have negative karma. It ensures your post quality but aslo effect on your forum profile.

As explained in the Karma thread in Forum related:

When you will get Negative Karma:

1. Posting in wrong section.
2. Being aggressive, or impolite without any reason.
3. Trying to spam your referral link or your website.

It will also take away points that are transferable for ALTS tokens (at a 10:1 ratio), as well as restrict you from certain airdrops as well as bounties.
Unfortunately there are dozens of users with negative karma, some with a lot, due to the reasons explained for receiving it.

I do not think that karma is a good policy for forums as people can dislike your posts even at the moments they just disagree with your point of view and, as a result, you lack many additional capabilities.

This is true.  The effect of negative karma in profile is huge. You can't join many bounties for this negative karma.  And nowadays you need positive karma for higher rank.  So if you have negative karma then it will be hard for you to rank up fast .
