I will always choose respect in everything I do and for every opportunity to choose between the two, you can always earn money, and money just comes and goes but if people lose respect for you they will not believe in whatever you say and they will look down on you.
And besides respect is handed in every generation, if people have respect to you you are always welcome to be in their company.

Money is not before honor though. But in today's society money is given more priority. No one will respect you if you don't have money. If you have money then you will be respected even if you are not respectable. Still I will value respect more than money. Money will come and go at any time, but respect has to be earned. Only the creator is the owner of honor.

Now a days money is all in all we are seeing. We know respect is best then money. But it also true that without money no one can respect. On the other hand who has huge money people respect him.
In present world Ethics being value less. Who has huge money people respecting him either he dab man. I think both are need respect and money. I choose Respect first and then money.

Same too, I have noticed that no matter how poor a person is in the community, their uprightness accord them the respect they get. Most times, as a result of this, they are most often the peoples mouth piece in the community because they say the truth and there is nothing anybody can do about it.

In most cases, I have been in community meetings were they reach conclusion to visit some notable elders in the community to seek their consent and advise before action is taken on some situations as to avoid any unforseen circumstances. These elders they are talking about are not the high and mighty but the ones who stays with them in the same community whom they have known for years to be upright and highly respected.

As much as people say that money gives one security and freedom, I will like to stress that having respect is not only a result of one being financially wealthy. In other words, accomplishment gives one the respect they deserve rather than the amount of money one has. That means a person can be a Millionaire and still not possess any element of respect, humility or even basic kindness.

Having empathy, kindness, and integrity is the key to gaining respect from the society. All of these qualities cannot be exchanged for money. Consider people you respect, does it mean you only respect them because of their richness or because of other qualities as well?

Money can be gained and lost in a flash and as quickly as it is made it disappears just as quickly, but respect is different it could be earned even in the worst of times. If a man loses his money but remains polite and honest he will not lose the regard of the people around him.

It is important to note that respect is not only in relation to other people but also in relation to self-respect. Yes, one can earn the respect of people by leading an honest and hardworking life, and being real to our selves despite their financial level.

I can say that money brings respect, not always true respect, but people do start to respect you more. I had that when I won a decent amount of money betting on Fairspin and then bought a car and had a lot of money to go out with friends and then I noticed that people start to treat you better and respect you.        -   This is just real talk. In this day and age, when you have a lot of money and the people around you find out about it, suddenly the people around you will be kind. They will suddenly respect you. When you have a lot of money, people will suddenly be close to you because they know you have something they don't have that they can take advantage of.

Especially for people who were poor before and suddenly became rich, people who weren't close to you before will suddenly become close to you now, and many will say that they are your friends, but when you had nothing or were poor, only a few of your friends believed in you. That's what money can do, but there are others who, even if you don't have money,  still give their respect because they know you have a good heart because they see it in action.

Seriously you spoke well, but as for me I go for money what can we do today without money, things money can not do today is not rare, even if you want to give someone advice and first give the person money he'll respect your time and your advice

I want to look at a little respect, there are many people who have a lot of money but people don't respect them. Maybe his conduct was not good or his source of earning money was not in the right direction. But yes those who have earned money through hard work are respectable people today. So it really doesn't make any difference how you earned the respect, whether through your deeds or through your wealth and power, what's more important is earning people's respect and maintaining it and avoid losing it, either by continuing in your good services which earned you the respect or by maintaining your financial status and avoid going broke.

Totally precise on what you have said on which it would really be that correlated something like this. We do know that when you do have the money then you would really be that highly respected because you are financially capable and also its true that respect could really be gained basing up on your behavior too because if you are someone whose really that doing something good
into other people then you would really be getting that respect naturally and its true that everything could really be ruined out by a single mistake and this is why it would really be

When you have not suffered or seen how insulted you can be when you have no money, you can stupidly choose respect over money. If you are also an individual who does not yet recognize the weight of responsibility, both to yourself and to other people around you, like family members who depend on you, then you would also choose respect over money. Money will always hold more importance to me than respect. There is a kind of money that you will have; it will command respect.
