what will be your choice if you are given money or respect people often say that Respect cant be we know this is true but on the other hand we can not ignore the importance of money because like oxygen money is first need of your life we can not pass a single day without money so what you think about it ?

When you have not suffered or seen how insulted you can be when you have no money, you can stupidly choose respect over money. If you are also an individual who does not yet recognize the weight of responsibility, both to yourself and to other people around you, like family members who depend on you, then you would also choose respect over money. Money will always hold more importance to me than respect. There is a kind of money that you will have; it will command respect.

What you saying Mate, whoever chooses money has already chosen respect because money is respect and whoever has money has respect. Even if you've lost people's respect for you but still have the financial capacity,, then you've not really lost the respect of all. First you ask yourself what is respect, respect can be when people values your thoughts or when people have great value for you and we already know that when you have money or financially capable, people would automatically value you and your thoughts because they know fully well that at some point you have more to offer.

Again, while it's true that money isn't everything, we still can't overemphasize on the respect that comes with wealth or having financial freedom, because everyone already knows that attaining such a statue isn't an easy journey so it's only normal to respect and think highly of those who have attained such status, and that's how respect comes naturally to those who have attained certain financial status.

Hmmmm..  that is right I also think having a lot of money can get you respect especially in poor countries where having enough money is big deal. But I do not think respect should only be about having money. In richer countries people respect you for what you do how kind you are and who you are not just for your money.

I understand why someone would choose money over respect. Having money can give you freedom and privacy. But I think it is best to have both money and respect. If I had to choose I would pick respect. Respect comes from real friendships and being part of community which is more important than money.

I see plenty answers here saying that money brings respect, it's true to some extent but not always, some people could be wealthy but not necessarily respected.

Anyway, answer to the topic, I'd choose respect for myself, and enough sense to not butcher it.

Nowadays money is everything, with money people can buy honor to make people submit to them and when we have a lot of money there we will be known by people or local people with that we are respected with the wealth we have, sometimes honor is now difficult to get money but we first see what type of honor it is. if the honor is valuable maybe the honor can make us make money, but in my opinion that is very rare.

Both money and respect are important, we need to have them together, this is because we may not enjoy doing without any of the two been made available for us, if we have money and also earn our respect, then we are going to know how important it is that we maintain the integrity of what we have earned, its rare for someone to have money and lack respect.

This question is not relevant if you ask me, and this is because in our contemporary society today, money and respect go side by side and siblings, this is to tell you that where ever you find money, there you must find respect too.

Far gone are the days when poor people were respected, possibly due to their level of knowledge or wisdom, or the Kind of post they hold in the society.
Today, we live in a society where your level of wisdom will be measured by how rich or wealthy you are, same is knowledge, same is one's position in the society, all of this is measured by the rich or wealthy a person is.

This is to say that money has become another god on this earth, a person without money is like literally a dead person because no one will really respect or value you except your family members.

Same thought here, if I am to choose between the two, money and respect, I would say both are crucial and important but in very different ways. Make make influence, money attracts regards for those who also deserve it, money make people to achieve their target goals and uses it to influence others life, but in other way can be use for evil, but it is not encouraged of us to go in this direction over the use of money, we have to understand what it takes to make money and how it feels when without having money, this may also increase our value and regard we have for it.
