Parksen - Highly Effective Team Overview

Parksen is an easily adoptable Green, Smart and Connected City Platform that is accessible through a public API and runs entirely on the existing Parksen Parking Cloud. By utilizing the Ethereum blockchain, the IOTA Tangle and our own PARQ utility tokens, we will offer a variety of solutions and smart contracts that will directly benefit a wide spectrum of stakeholders within urban metropolises and smaller cities.

           
PARQ team aim to use an open and universal ledger to record and map data that will give us a picture of major chokepoints in urban areas. With that information, we can continuously improve the flow of traffic and decrease carbon monoxide emissions and congestion, while replacing and renewing outdated technology and investing in smart parking solutions through IoT (Internet of Things) devices, green field appliances, a real-time parking app, and universal dashboards.   

PARQ currently has at least 19 people on its team with full of tech-savvy veterans, city developers, legal counselors and marketers. The biographies of Parkson's key team members are summarized below:

1. Their CEO & Founder -  Eddie Postma newbie deactivated link:https://www.linkedin.com/in/eddiepostma/ [nonactive]:  As a veteran project manager and fearless internet entrepreneur, Eddie Postma has been building and maintaining enterprises for nearly three decades. With experiences varying from online magazines and video production companies to the Parksen Parking app, Eddie tackles each of his projects with unlimited energy and dedication.

• Working experience: Worked as interim Project Manager and Information Analyst for the company’s clients: NPO (Dutch Public Broadcasting), Thuiszorgloket, St. Zorg & Service, Gemeente Amsterdam/Cition and Parkmobile Software.

2. Their Chief Security Officer - Paul Heath newbie deactivated link:https://www.linkedin.com/in/pfheath/ [nonactive]: Paul has an impressive background in both the Parking industry and IT. Having spent two years working for Park Mobile as a Senior Technical Consultant and another four as a Solutions Architect at one of the largest Dutch Telecom companies, he is able to make a large contribution to the Parksen Parking team, where he currently has a function as Chief Security Officer.

• Working experience: worked for the Dutch Ministry of Justice as a Migration Specialist before becoming a Senior Developer at the Ministry of Defense. From there he moved on to the Parking industry and Amsterdam municipality as a Senior Technical Consultant, before finally landing at KPN, one of the largest telecom companies in the Netherlands, as a Solutions Architect.

3. Their IT architect - Fokko van den Bosch newbie deactivated link:https://www.linkedin.com/in/fokko-van-den-bosch-9323384/ [nonactive]:  Hands-on Project Manager with a good feel for talented individuals and inspirational leadership, which always helps him to get the very best out of his team.  His roles as Consultant at the Dutch Ministry of Defense, and his tenure as Project Manager for the Dutch Ministry of Justice make him invaluable to the Parksen Parking organization, where is currently active as an IT Architect and Consultant. With more than two decades of experience as an IT Architect, Parksen platform and the backend modules could not be in better hands.

• Working experience: Proven IT Architect at KPN, one of the largest Telecom companies in the Netherlands, with over 20 years of experience in the field.

4. Their Senior Developer - Arjan Douwes newbie deactivated link:https://www.linkedin.com/in/arjandouwes/ [nonactive]: A C# and .NET specialist with nearly two decades of experience. Arjan is their All-Star developer, which isn’t that surprising considering his lengthy resume which includes several gigs at Parking Providers, Airports and a whopping six years tenure where he worked on a Parking Platform for the city of Amsterdam. He is a highly skilled developer who loves to keep up with the latest technological innovations.

• Working experience:  worked both as a Senior Developer at Brussels Airport and as a developer at Park Mobile.

5. Their Senior Developer - Massimo Bensi newbie deactivated link:https://www.linkedin.com/in/massimobensi/ [nonactive]: An exceptionally experienced Azure Solution Architect and Developer from Italy, Massimo joined Parksen to assist in the creation of our Smart, Green and Connected City Platform. His experience as Senior Software Developer at a rivaling parking app makes him a perfect fit, and so does his experience working on blockchain and smart contract development. His analytical and pragmatic personality, combined with a broad range of technical and soft skills have led to specialization in many areas including: Azure Cloud, Software Architecture, .NET, Mobile, Web, Agile, SQL and NoSQL, VR-AR-MR.

• Working experience: Massimo has worked in several industries such as Aviation, Automotive, Parking, Media & Advertising, Social Media, Fashion.

6. Their Marketing and Communications Manager - Wilhelm T. Constantly staying on top up of new legislation and political shifts, he continuously adapted his marketing strategies based on the current landscapes. His background makes him one of the sharpest tools in our modest shed, which incidentally makes him the perfect Marketing & Communications Manager.

• Working experience: In 2014 Wilhelm founded WTR Strategic Consultancy, a company specialized in European legislation. Constantly stimulated by political and economic development, he quickly turned into one of Europe’s top Instagram pundits.

And many more high experience and talent members in the other positions.

Parksen app and platform have been tested in the Netherlands. Their team has worked on digitizing small and big cities across the country, while keeping in mind the need to keep the cities efficient and green, so as to not ruin all of the beautiful nature. I believe this strong technical team has a good chance of pulling off this ambitious and highly technical project.
