I'm not familiar on NEM coins that is why i prefer to invest in ETH because i used it already so many times and i think NEM really needs the help of it's investors so that this will be known to other people or to its target investors.

I think NEM coin can't compete with Ethereum because NEM has not been very known yet now.Ethereum has already established stability in terms of market price value and has been more popular than NEM.

yep i'm agree with you eth is used by so many crypto projects than i think nem cant be better. You can buy both but if you want a stable profit and secure invest in eth.

The popularity is a big factor, so i would prefer buy more eth than nem because in ling term is better. If you buy both coin i can be better to secure your investment.

With regards to the market value of each coin Ethereum is very strong compare to NEM aside from that ethereum is very popular and use by so many project platforms while NEM is so quite for now although i believe that NEM have big chances to be rise rapidly but still can't compete with ethereum.

Currently ethereum much more popular better than nem , at implementation. But, nem still prospective also.
Nem and Eth have different specification. May be you can choose both of these,  not based on on how much money you currently have, but based on What your goal is
