Why are some Countries Restricted from Investing?

I don't think the reason of restriction is about the scammer issue. Every country potentially has scammers and restriction is not really effective to avoid them. I'm just guessing if it's about the dominance of token holders.

Maybe the reason for the state restricting investment entering the crypto world because the government does not want the country to have a high dependence on the existence of digital investment. On the other hand, the Government will damage that its citizens will continue to pay taxes even though there are citizens who do not pay for investing in this Crypto world.

I think maybe some countries are restricted in purchasing in ICO  because it might be use in money laundering . CryptoCurrency is still considered as an investment and an asset and the fact that it is decentralized makes it more easy to be use in such way.

Among many answers above, you guys have correct answers related to question. Yes, the restriction is caused by the regulation from some countries in the world. Every government has different regulation for ICO activities. Only some governments in the world that totally ban all businesses and individuals to take a part in ICO. The others allow its citizens to join ICOs as investors.

there are some countries that have not been able to accept crypto and prohibit it for several reasons. but we must also know that the cryptocurrency will be profitable if we can use it well.
