This is just my opinion, but I'm sure everyone has their own opinions,
why do I say EOS is still a potential coin?

if we see the picture above that I took directly from CMC,
this shows that eos prices have experienced good development,
but why is the price down?
this is only because the market is down,
but if the bull market, eos prices can reach 17 usd again, or even more.

The EOS can be high in value because EOS now opens the smartcontract for ICO.

Yes, smart contract has been a good features of EOS which give new start up projects opportunity to lunch their projects on its platform just like Etheruem. yeah, that's right. Eos has a big chance to develop further in the next few months. because Eos is now widely used for the emerging altcoin platform. maybe it was one of Eos's big steps to start a big development

Its because they are launching to the mainnet and the hype issue so thats why the price is surged until reach 22$ as its highest place. Hope in the future if the demand increase then their price will increase too.

I think that besides it mainnet lunche, EOS is a potential coin to invest for the long term because, EOS (like many other smart contract blockchains) is often liken to work as Ethereum and even better. It can do everything that Ethereum can, but so much better!

I agree with you EOS is potential coins especially for smart contract and decentralize application dapps projects, EOS blockchain has great potential to replace other blockchain related with smart contract and decentralize application, we can see on here about the blockchain activity on every blockchain technology http://blocktivity.info that's my other reason why EOS is potential blockchain than another.
