[Suggestion] Fiture: Add Reason Before Giving Negative Karma

Hi everyone. Well, here I have an idea how if before giving negative karma we must give a reason first why we gave it. I am worried about the abuse of negative karma. I think the technique of this fiture like 'Report to Moderator'.

And with this fiture, I think the negative karma giver will responsible about it and admin/judge/moderator can consider it. I hope Altcoinstalks is getting even better. Thank you

But about displaying the name of negative karma giver I think it will be dangerous and trigger of 'karma war'.

The simplest way to solve this problem is to put the name who gave both positive and negative karma on the post. For this everyone can see if the karma is abused or not. I think the karma abuse will reduce up to 90% if the name shown in the post that get karma.

This is a wonderful idea! Even better is the idea of giving a reason for the negative karma and having the admin/moderator look at it before going ahead. I think this fixture should indeed be added.

Showing the names of negative/positive karma giver is not necessary. It helps to avoid pointless feud.

Karma is very sensitive case yeah?
And we should be fix it together especially for abuse Negative Karma.
Very interesting idea if we need to fill reason before we submit like 'Report to moderator' fiture.

If you find good/bad post of him you give positive/negative karma. As there is proof you can easily detect who gave you karma and for which reason. If you think you don't deserve negative for the post you can complain to admin or moderator. If everyone can see which post get karma then everyone will fair to give nonsense karma.

Can you elaborate on this? I am curious to dead to know who gave me karma(s)? Like you said, if one day total member of forum reaches 2 million and everyone receiving negative karma wants to complain to admin or moderator, what else can mod/admin do aside from resolving those complaints?

Talking about "karma", I think it's the combination of "merit" and "trust" in the forum X and everyone knows that the trust system is being seriously abused (people can give negative trust to other with some shady reasons, that's not to mention the right to give positive/negative trust is centralized in some people's hands). It'd be better to let karma system work like karma in Reddit. If you got positive karma then your total karma increases and if you get negative karma, your total karma decreases.

I don't think this is necessary. The forum rules are clear and the admin can always contact the one who gave the negative karma if there is going to be a dispute at our forum court.

I think having a "karma history" is enough since some of us do not really monitor Karma count. No need to include the names, just the dates when you got the positive/negative karma. Everything else is working fine.

Talking showing who gave Karma I agree with you especially for Negative Karma. I think it's very dangerous step.

This is a good idea but I don't know if technically possible and for sure involves a lot of additional work and resources.

There is a log in which Admin has a lot of useful informations about issued karma.

As for now all court cases were resolved without a problem and we have ni complains so the karma system is already checked and seems to be working good.

Don't try to repair something which already works.

I think the best solution for this case is to entrust atleast 10 people to see and review karma log of the admin, just a suggestion

You may have a valid concern about the "abuse" on giving out positive karma. I believe admin has taken note of that already since some of our members raised that issue before. As the forum grows bigger, I think admin will eventually delegate some of the task like karma monitoring.
