ICO Scam, What is The Solution?
« on: October 30, 2018, 06:42:03 AM »
Several projects have come and succeed and have proven beyond any doubt that they are real, while most projects have come with the purpose to scam people. I have an opinion that if there are proper regulations and strict rules that guides the operation and the way ICOs are run, that will reduce the rate in which ICOs scam people.

If you have any other opinion or contrary opinion, you can share it with me.

Thanks.

basically, we can't predict the ico that is a scam. to avoiding it, we must be able to choose the good ico to followed. ico that is good will make the good results too. therefore, in choosing an ico we must be more careful.

The fact is that fraudulent projects are not so easy to recognize, because they make an interesting idea, collect money, and then disappear!

I agree more if there is an institution that records ico registration. So if ico is committing an offense, it's easier to track and given legal sanctions. I am sure this method will reduce the number of scam ico like in 2018.

While I agree that regulations can minimize the fraud or scam in ICOs, nothing still beats due diligence.
ICO regulations can also bring new investors in but it can also drive potential investors away (those who prefer anonymity)

there needs to be a new breakthrough about the rules or standard operating procedures for the establishment of projects and ICOs which will be useful for the benefit of new ICOs and filter them from scams or inability to enter the market

I think the best solution is to carefully choose the IO project. Read the whitepaper first, then see the roadmap. Don't forget to see also the activities of his team on social media. If they can provide coin progress information, that means the project is legitimate.

The solution for the scam token is to leave and forget it, because our funds will not be able to come back again. Then focus on the next project is potential.

I have read on other forum, where someone posted some ideas. One of the was (which I found particularly useful and interesting), that ICOs would have to pay some fee in % relative to their hard cap, which would be mandatory to post their thread on the forum. That is how, scam could be eliminated.

there's no solution on that buddy. we dont know if the ico is a scam o legit. the best thing to do is have some research about the team of that project. know everything about them, their social media acct all to make sure that the team behind that project exist. if they doesn't exist well thats probably a scam

indeed currently there are so many ico as well as many who scam and the number is more than ico which is not scam, it is very difficult to distinguish ico who is scam or not so in my opinion we must be more careful and careful in choosing ico.

i think it will be a little difficult to determine the project scam, even if given strict regulations. too many ways to make a project like that.

to avoid it, i think the only way is we must always be vigilant and more careful in choosing projects. it's a bit difficult to distinguish, but we can trace it from the #DevelopmentTeam  first.

The solution to avoiding an ICO project that is scam is to recognize it. The way to recognize a Scam ICO Project is to learn more about the ICO project and also have to be clever in researching the Project. Must be careful of the project by examining the project team, teamwork, target markets, market opportunities, number of investors who enter and others. From there you will be able to make a decision to choose which ICO project is really good and which one is just a Scam.
