How does Steemit upvoting system work ?

Up votes are part of it, but all upvotes are not equal. People with more Steem will give you more from their upvotes.

Let me explain my little knowledge about that here's the helpful method I do as a curator on steemit
if you upvote 0 minutes after the Blog Posted. 100% of the Upvote rewards will go to the original poster
if you upvote 3 minutes after the Blog Posted. 90% of the upvote rewards will go to the original poster & 10% will go to the upvoter(you)
if you upvote 15 minutes after the blog posted 50% of the upvote rewards will go to the original poster & 50% will go to the upvoter(you)
if you upvote 27 minutes after the blog posted 100% of the upvote rewards will go to the original poster & 90% will go to the upvoter(you)
if you upvote 30 minutes after the blog posted 100% of the rewards will go to the upvoter(you)

here's the simple logic
so if you want to help the blogger to earn more without gaining in return much better to upvote his/her post 0 minutes after the blog posted

if you want earn more much better to upvote Post after 30 minutes

note: you can earn more depends on your 'steem power' hope this help
